The Mission of Herman Stern

Description

The documentary and curriculum in this project were designed to provide teachers with additional tools to help students discover accurate historical content, demonstrate the relevance of subject matter and maintain high engagement levels within the classroom. It helps teach students to source information and provides students the opportunity to apply content knowledge to contemporary issues.

The educational curriculum is standard-based and aligns with the Common Core Standards in English Language Arts Literacy in History/Social Studies. The curriculum contains components that apply to many language arts curriculum and the content is interdisciplinary. The activities can easily be differentiated by classroom teachers.
